Little Red Schoolhouse is a parent cooperative preschool serving families of children ages 2.9 to 5 from Wrentham and the surrounding towns. Our classes meet in an historic one-room schoolhouse built in 1869 that originally served as one of Wrentham’s elementary schools.
We truly believe a child learns through active play. Classroom “centers,” with ever-changing materials provide the developmentally appropriate sensory experiences each child needs to construct an understanding of the world and a love of learning through exploration.
We see parents and teachers as partners at the Little Red Schoolhouse. As a parent cooperative, we look to parents as classroom volunteers, Parent Board members and for fundraising support.
The playground at the schoolhouse is open to the public anytime classes are not in session- after 1pm weekdays, on weekends and during vacations.
Please remember that our school and grounds are peanut and nut free at all times.
